The Untraditional First Post

I'm not going to waste your time (and mine for that matter) writing an introduction. After all, that's what the "about me" section is about. Also, fair warning, while I am an English and grammar fanatic, I also have an infant to care after; please excuse any typos. I promise, in a world where sleep is plentiful and my time is free, my writing wouldn't have any errors.

This blog is mostly for my benefit. I AM that selfish. I enjoy writing and more importantly, venting. If I happen to make you laugh, think, or curse, that is just an added benefit. My posts may be few and far between, or perhaps 3 in a day; who knows? I can't commit to any schedule and I can assure you that my life isn't that interesting anyway. If you're chewing your nails and pacing the floor in anticipation, you may need to seek medical advice (but sure as hell not mine, you will be subjected to chastisement).

You'll find that I am honest but not open, and I am mostly right (even if you don't want to admit it). I am NOT arrogant or self absorbed, just well aware of my talents. Seriously. Additionally, I am a Christian but do not confuse this with me being religious or even over sympathetic to your plight. I consider what I am and what I have blessings (that's why I'm not arrogant, I know how quickly things can be taken). As for my lack of being open, I am a private person about my family and my sentimental emotions. Again, this blog is for venting, epiphanies, and whatever else I want it to be.
